  1. What's new in this club
  2. It's the year 2044, and the real world has become an ugly place. We're out of oil. We've wrecked the climate. Famine, poverty, and disease are widespread. Like most of humanity, Wade Watts escapes this depressing reality by spending his waking hours jacked into the OASIS, a sprawling virtual utopia where you can be anything you want to be, where you can live and play and fall in love on any of ten thousand planets. And like most of humanity, Wade is obsessed by the ultimate lottery ticket that lies concealed within this alternate reality: OASIS founder James Halliday, who dies with no heir
  3. Mine is historical fiction and my favorite era is 1920s-30s.

The character Jasper sounds like he's hot. 🤷‍♀️ I've been thinking about reading Radium Girls, which this author used as a reference.
  5. I haven't started yet. I'm currently reading 4 other books so I'll probably start this one in September, unless I can finish one of the others quickly.
  6. Reading the book now. Looks like quick read but seriously have no time to read. Still haven't seen the movie yet.
  7. Available everywhere but I d/led it via torrent Crazy Rich Asians is the outrageously funny debut novel about three super-rich, pedigreed Chinese families and the gossip, backbiting, and scheming that occurs when the heir to one of the most massive fortunes in Asia brings home his ABC (American-born Chinese) girlfriend to the wedding of the season. When Rachel Chu agrees to spend the summer in Singapore with her boyfriend, Nicholas Young, she envisions a humble family home, long drives to explore the island, and quality time with the man she might one day marry. What she do
