Ariana Ariana Grande drags the Grammys on Twitter

Recommended Posts

Grammy never cared about the it girl or what  is cool. As far as I can remember (i.e. early  2000 with Brit), they have followed a certain path, that we agreed with or not. At the end of the day, this is what makes the Grammy the Grammy. If i am 100% honest, I truly beleive that Taylor gave/have received m enough the last couple years (and is putting her couple first), Drake is a none event when it comes to awards shows (can you remember the last award show he attended to?) and Ariana, I mean, her last couple songs are great and she got the new way to be hot nowadays, but is she really something? Is someone really gonna miss her on Sunday? Like, she's no Adele, Gaga, Taylor or Britney. The pop scene got so boring that it makes Ariana exciting . Are we collectively there?

Ariana is the closest thing to a pop superstar since Taylor. 👀

Maybe if Ariana did this the Grammys would have let her perform...

Her lost.

She the biggest thing in music right now with multiple number 1 songs and an album that’s going to obliterate streaming records. She’s fine.

I believe this is the last year with Ken Erlich as the producer of the GRAMMYs which is coming at a good time because he's made A LOT of enemies: Bieber, Drake, Kanye, Jay-Z & Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Taylor, Ariana, Kendrick, Childish, Frank Ocean, etc. I heard James Corden & his production team will take over next year. About time for Neil Portnow ("Women need to step it up") to step down as well.

Taylor was always going to be snubbed once she went full pop star imo. She won when she was praised more for singer/songwriter not for her "reputation"

I get what you are saying to a certain extent, and it's more understandable to give the awards to artists that are more known for their talent than simply popularity, but to alienate the biggest pop star out there by not allowing her to perform (all the while using her face for advertisement) is not a good look.

And Ariana is really talented.  But whenever a female artist is too sexual, they (Grammys and just our culture in general) lose respect for the artist and think it "takes away from their talent."  But I don't see these restrictions for male artists.  Adam Levine ripped his shirt off at the SB and nobody questioned his talent or lost respect for him as a performer.

As far as I could see, Adam Levine was torn to shreds for that performance, not the best example.

As if the Grammys will be any better/worse without her. She shouldn’t flatter herself.

I mean the fact that Fucking Alicia Keys is hosting this says it all. Maybe they can get Jamie Lynn for 2020 🙌🏼
